1930s Ford Enamel Dealership Sign - Double-sided

This is a rare original enamel Ford dealership that has survived from the 1930s. This sign used to hang outside of a Ford dealership and was used to promote the parts and service section of the dealership.  It is a double-sided heavy-gauge steel sign and on  both sides it reads “Genuine Ford Parts”. This enamel sign is navy blue and white with the Ford script written in white. It is an oval shape, has two holes on either side at the top for hanging and is quite heavy weighing 2.3 kgs. The sign shows some evidence of its age with small areas of rust, discolouration, surface scratching, chipping of the enamel but as shown in the photos it is still a very striking sign. Would make an excellent display piece for any early Ford enthusiast.

This sign is in excellent condition for its age. It has some rust in small spots on both sides but less on one side. The holes at the top have rust around them but the area is not weakened at all and retains its original strength. This is a very strong and straight sign, it is not bent and has no dents.
