1910s-1920s EA Hand-Operated Horn - Model T Ford era - great AHOOGA sound! Description: This original 1920's EA Hand-operated Horn is a great piece, mainly because of the sound it makes! It is very heavy and sturdy and is black in colour. It has maintained its shape very well with few dents and is in good working order. The mechanism works very well and has no resistance when using it (just block your ears though - it has a loud Ahoogo sound - you can't stop pushing it because its so much fun!). The metal plaque on the horn reads "HAND PHONE - HAND HORN PATENTED, E.A. LABORATORIES INC. MFGR, BROOKLYN, NY. USA" and the instruction read "ADJUST TONE & LOOSEN WITH A PLIER NUT 2 AT DIAPHRAGM CENTER AND TURN ANVIL 4 RIGHT. OIL PLUNGER 6 ONCE WEEK". The attachment piece is in good order and very straight. It weighs 1.2 kgs. A very nice unrestored horn that would suit a Model T Ford, Dodge or other car from the era Size: The horn measures 9.5" in length and 6" at the widest part. The attachment piece is 4" long. The mouth is 5.5" X 4.4". Condition: Used Rating (4 out of 5) This horn is in good condition. It has some minor surface rust, is in good shape with minor dents.
