Phinney - Walker Rim Wind Clock -Model T Ford Era
Description:
This original Phinney - Walker Car Clock with a Rim Wind is in good working order. It dates from the era of the 1910s to 20s and was an aftermarket clock that was used on many makes of this era including the Model T Ford and Dodge. It has a cream colour face with black print and black hands. A smaller dialis on the face and has a very small black black hand counting the seconds. The clock is in original unrestored condition and is in working order. "Phinney - Walker" is printed on the clock along with some script around the edge of the clock that reads "PHINNEY - WALDER INC NEW YORK & CHICAGO. PAT.FEB '08.AUG.16.'10.NOV.28'.II JUL9/'12. PATENTED IN FOREIGN COUNTRIES No: 8275". On the back it has PATENT dates from 1907 though to 1912" that we can see. The clock is quite heavy & weighs 700 grams.
Size: The clock measures approximately 4" deep and is 3.5" wide. The clock face is 2.5" X 2.5".

This clock is in generally good condition for its age. It has general wear from use with some wear to the plating but is still a fine looking piece as shown in the photos.
